ABOUT

Sarah Burrier is an illustrator, artist, and occasional screenprinter from Frederick County, Maryland. She earned her BFA from Towson University, studying Art & Design with a focus in illustration. She specializes in pen and ink illustration, utilizing a blend of analog and digital in her workflow. Sarah has been selected by her peers for multiple student art shows, including three solo exhibitions at Towson University, where she has won awards for her pieces in their selective categories.
She’s been drawing ever since she could pick up a pen and the subjects have remained the same since: monsters, creatures, cats, and general weirdness.
The imagination is a powerful thing, and she wants to convey that in her art by transforming her inner thoughts of the imaginative and illogical into tangible pieces. She asks you to suspend your disbelief while looking at her pieces, and to think up a story of your own to accompany them.
